Student List of Supplies
Mr. Franklin Stahl, Grades 5-8
338-0131 or 259-6363 fstahl@superPA.net

1.      Storage tray/compartment for desk to put pencils, pens, glue, eraser and lead refills and other items in. (This should fit in the upper slot of our school desks, which is: 3-7/8” high by 10-1/2” wide by 14-1/8” deep)
2.      Computer storage device (USB memory—Jump drive, Flash drive, scan disk thumb drive, etc.)
3.      “Loose sheets” of wide-ruled notebook paper (Please--no messy tear-out spiral bound notebooks please)
4.      Mechanical lead pencil with refill erasers and leads or No. 2 pencils
5.      Hand eraser (white are the best)
6.      Blue and red pens
7.      Correction tape (no “liquid” white out pens or bottles)
8.      Colored pencils
9.      Colored markers
10.Highlighter marker
11.A 12 inch ruler (it should have Metric as well as our customary English units)
12.Scissors (left-handed designed ones for left-handers?)
13.Glue stick (no liquid glue, please)
14.Clipboard
15.P.E. and recess footwear sneakers (with arch support that meet Dress Code) and boots & gloves for winter months
16.Protractor (these look like half circles—the smaller ones will work better for what we need them for)
17.Compass (these are used to draw circles. Save yourself a headache—purchase the plastic ones or a good quality metal one. Some of the inexpensive metal ones loosen to easily and do not hold their position)
18.Calculator (Keep the operating directions to be used)
19.4-5 file folders to file and save papers for future use (Do not bring 3-ringed notebooks or trapper keepers because our desks do not have space for them) Pocket folders are good.
20.Two (2) boxes of soft facial tissue
21.small or pocket-size dictionary
22.Bible (NKJV or NIV preferred)
23.backpack or book bag
24.Those entering 6th grade-- a Doctor's Physical Exam (a school form is available)
25.Those entering 7th grade—a Dental exam plus make sure you have the update on Immunization (history of chicken pox verification or vaccine)
26.Recommended—toothpaste, toothbrush, and/or floss
27.Lunches—we now have a microwave in each classroom. Because of heavy demand Grades 5 & 6 will use it on Mondays & Thursdays, Grades 7 & 8 on Tuesdays & Fridays. Wednesday is open for anyone.

Please label items with your name and make every effort to keep supplies on hand throughout the entire school year.
